Do guests have to wear orinasal masks?
Mouth-nose-protection is obligatory in Croatia in all public indoor areas, including our hotels. At your seat in the restaurant and during the consumption of food and drinks you may remove your mouth and nose protection.

What is the minimum Social distance required?
The minimum distance has to be 1,5 m as well as disinfectant dispensers with guidelines for proper hand hygiene will be ensured greatly in all public areas (SPA, restaurants, pools, beach, lobbies and other public areas).

Will programs and activities take place at the destination?
Outdoor activities are allowed and not affected by government regulations, but social distancing (especially at the beachfront) as well as practising good hygiene are desired. Sport equipment will be disinfected after each use.

Are there any changes in working hours?

What do i have consider when visiting the restaurant Jadran?
We ensure that the guidelines provided by the Croatian Institute for Public Health are strictly observed. In addition we have taken measures that go beyond this and assure maximum hygiene and safety. We are taking great effort to provide the usual excellent Falkensteiner service despite the necessary safety measures and to maintain the variety of our usual offers.All guidelines including regular personal hygiene (hand washing guide) are strictly controlled internally. According to current guidelines in Croatia, there are no restrictions about number of people that may sit together at the same table. Upon your arrival, a table in the restaurant will be assigned during dinner. Buffet is served regularly, all guest are kindly asked to disinfect their hands before using utensils or to use the provided disposable gloves.. Dinner is a la carte, vines and drinks will be recommended verbally by our service team.

What do I have consider when visiting the restaurant Bracera?
It is an open air restaurant, all tables will be set up according to the social distancing measures.

What do I have consider when visiting the restaurant Planika?
It is an open air restaurant, all tables will be set up according to the social distancing measures.

What do i have to consider when visiting bar?
According to CIPH recommendations it is not allowed to sit and consume drinks at the bar counter. Guest can only pick up his order at the bar and cannot stand for a longer period of time.

What do i have to consider when using Spa facilities?
When entering the Spa area to consider safety distance measures of 1,5 m and regular hand hygiene. Following the government regulations, the steam bath will not be in operation until further notice. However, the Finnish sauna will be operated, strictly following the guidelines provided by the CIPH. During pedicure and manicure treatments it is mandatory to wear orinasal masks. Water beds relaxation rooms will be closed.

What do I have to consider at pools and beach?
Social distancing (especially at the beachfront) as well as practising good hand hygiene are desired.

If I suspect to have any symptoms of the COVID 19 what do I have to do?
In that case please contact immediately our Health and Safety team (contact provided at the reception) who will take care of you further.

Is there a doctor available at the resort?
Yes, doctor is available 24/7 for phone consultations and on site daily in certain periods.

Do you check temperatures daily of your guests?
No, but we are checking our employees temperature daily.

Since we know that booking a trip currently causes insecurity for many people, and because we would like to remove this worry from our guests, we have developed a Premium Corona Travel Insurance for you with HanseMerkur Versicherung. Should you be unable to start your trip or have to depart from your trip earlier due to a Covid infection or suspected case of infection, the insurance will cover your entire travel costs without deduction.

The following scenarios are covered:

  • A quarantine ordered in written form by the public health department or doctor
  • The transportation by third parties (e.g. airport personnel) or the entry into the rental object is denied by the owner at the beginning of the journey

When cancellations are not covered:

  • Out of fear of infection (even with high infection numbers on site)
  • Because of the belonging to the so-called 'risk group'

The hotel reserves the right to preauthorize the credit card before arrival,as well as to use it for eventual extra service charges which might occur during the stay in hotel or for any other incidentals such as damage done while staying in a hotel.

Please note that in case of payment with credit card - the amount from your credit card will be taken in Kuna and it could come to some differences because of the exchange rates. Unfortunately we are not able to influence possible differences in exchange rates or credit card companies commissions.

Prices are assigned in Euro (€). Payments can be done with Euro (€) (with the fix currency exchange rate 7,50 Kuna), but due to Croatian law an exchange to local currency KUNA (at daily rate plus handling fee) has to be done before setting the invoice.

We advice you that the best way is a prepayment of the whole amount by bank transfer before arrival to avoid currency fluctuation.
