Our hotel in Vals, South Tyrol, is situated perfectly for your Gitschberg Jochtal ski holiday. Directly in the ski and holiday area Gitschberg Jochtal with 16 lift facilities and over 55 kilometers of downhill slopes for skiers of all levels. This winter sports area in South Tyrol offers pure skiing fun on downhill runs from the beginning of December to Easter at an altitude of up to 2,500 meters. Beginners and advanced beginners will certainly enjoy more the 18.5 kilometers of easy downhill slopes and the practice slopes at the bottom of the valley in the village. Another 27.2 kilometers of "red" runs are available too and all advanced skiers get to navigate the 9.2 kilometers of "black" downhill runs.

The breath-taking 360° panorama view of the surrounding mountain ranges with over 500 summits leaves a lasting impression. The Gaisjoch Bahn gondola lift with its glass-floor cabins takes you from and to Gitschberg Mountain and is spectacular in itself. 

Vals, on the other hand, is the perfect holiday venue for families. Only short distances between the amenities, no crowds at the lifts – Here, your skiing fun begins practically on your doorstep. Kids get to try their hand at skiing in one of the three children's parks available in the winter sports region. They get to learn the ABC of winter sports as part of a team in one of the ski schools. Once they have mastered the first few swings, magic carpets are waiting to take them to the mountaintop. Freestyle fans of all ages will enjoy the fun park with rails, slides, kickers and boxes.
