At weekends throughout September, it’s all about the diversity of plant-based cuisine. Discover inventive menus featuring superfoods, seasonal produce from our own permaculture garden, and delicately balanced spices. Sweet tooths will love the vegan desserts from our patisserie. An open invitation to explore new flavours and discover the plant-based lifestyle for yourself.

VIRTSKUCHL by HANNAH BARESCH

Nutrition educator and founder of Virtskuchl, Hannah Baresch reimagines traditional Austrian dishes with a modern twist. Her cooking is inspired by childhood memories, shaped by simplicity, and driven by a love of honest, flavourful ingredients. The result: regional, refined, and full of depth.

ZIGURI Cookery School by Daniel Reiter

Founder of Vienna’s first fully vegan cookery school, Daniel Reiter blends expertise, mindfulness, and true culinary craftsmanship. His dishes reveal the depth, precision, and creativity of high-quality plant-based cuisine – from root to plate.

In the programme:

  • Evening menu curated by Daniel Reiter, 5 to 7 September 2025
  • Plant-based BBQ at the Light Lunch, Saturday, 6 September, from 1 pm

Die vegane Wirtin by Laura & Ines

Laura and Ines are all about good food and great energy. What began in 2021 as a vegan lunch spot in Wels has grown into a series of creative workshops and events. Their style? Regional, seasonal, and served with a wink. Cooking, after all, should be fun – and delicious.

In the programme:

  • Breakfast buffet and evening menu with creations by Die vegane Wirtin, 18 to 21 September 2025
  • Cooking workshop Austrian Classics, Saturday, 20 September, 12.30 am, sign up at reception by 10 am (limited spaces)

Pepper & Ginny

Finest vegan delicacies from small artisan producers across Europe – from creamy cheeses and fine wines to handcrafted pralines. At Pepper & Ginny, every product is carefully selected for quality and flavour. A true treat for those who appreciate conscious indulgence.

Die Pflanzerei

A new take on Austrian comfort food: Die Pflanzerei proves that beloved classics can be just as satisfying in plant-based form. With a passion for craftsmanship, regional sourcing, and conscious enjoyment, founder Nadina Ruedl captures the true essence of culinary identity.

In the programme:

  • Aperitif & tasting of Austrian specialities, Sunday, 7 September 2025,  7 am to 11 am at the Restaurant Imago, followed by a Meet & Greet with founder Nadina Ruedl

VEGDOG

Our four-legged guests are in for a treat: On arrival, they’ll receive a welcome surprise from VEGDOG – the first vegan and gluten-free complete dog food, developed with veterinary experts, rich in essential nutrients, and easy to digest.

Augora Fermente

In this hands-on workshop with Augora, everything revolves around wild fermentation, living cultures, and deep, evolving flavours. Alexandra Liberda shares her knowledge of bubbling jars, ripening processes, and the joy of transformation – practical, sensory, and full of aroma.

Merkur Health – Focus Weeks

This September, your health, wellbeing, and self-care take centre stage too – in collaboration with Biogena, Panaceo, Dr. Eberhardt, and Vinoble Cosmetics. Expect workshops, skin analyses, aromatherapy sessions, and much more throughout the month.

Culinary offerings in September

Throughout the month, we’re expanding our daily offering with creative plant-based options – light, seasonal, and full of flavour. Here’s what your culinary day could look like:

  • A wide selection of vegan dishes at the breakfast buffet
  • Light lunch with soup and two plant-based mains (optionally available with fish or meat)
  • Dinner featuring a variety of vegan starters, main courses, and desserts to choose from
