During the whole month of September, we at Falkensteiner Balance Resort Stegersbach are putting an even stronger culinary focus on plant-based nutrition. As a hotel that consciously addresses the issue of sustainability, we already make sure to offer a wide range of delicious vegan dishes. In September, however, we want to turn the tables and make veganism not the alternative on the menu, but the "conventional" diet without meat products and dairy. Why, you ask? Because this lifestyle not only benefits people, animals and the environment, but also offers incredible taste experiences as well, which we don't want to deprive you of!

In addition to these culinary delights, we also offer a month-long exciting program on the subject of veganism and its rich diversity, which will be equally suitable for open-minded newcomers and full-time vegans. From cooking classes to lectures on nutrients or veganism in elite sports to tours of our sustainable permaculture garden, readings or yoga and mindfulness workshops: we look forward to providing you with a wonderful vacation with added value. VIRTSKUCHL by HANNAH BARESCH

The vegan cook, nutrition educator and founder of Virtskuchl, discovered her passion for plant-based cuisine at the age of 7. Reducing to the essentials and veganizing Austrian cuisine reignited her love for plant-based cooking. The idea for "Virtskuchl" was born. Cooking with unprocessed, regional and high quality seasonal foods, characterize her 100% vegan cuisine. Enjoy this liaison of tradition and modernity in their hands from 01. - 03.09. in the Balance Resort Stegersbach. 

ZIGURI KOCHSCHULE by DANIEL REITER

The operator of the first purely vegan cooking school in Vienna is a passionate and trained "plant-based chef and nutritionist". The appreciation of food, from the initial seed in the soil to the ripe fruit, the quality and loving handling of the ingredients, as well as the right technique, are Daniel's main focus when preparing plant-based dishes. Join Daniel Reiter on this culinary journey with creativity, passion and magic on 23th of September at the Balance Resort Stegersbach.

VEGANISTA

Veganista was founded by sisters Susanna and Cecilia, who have both been eating a purely plant-based diet for more than 20 years. With an extreme passion for ice cream and for extravagant flavours, they have permanently changed the ice cream world in Vienna. They have become pioneers of the new ice cream era and honour us throughout the vegan month with their ice cream creations as part of the prepared desserts.

ELISABETH NIEDEREDER

The former competitive athlete, 26-time national champion (400m, 800m and 1500m run) is now a trained sports scientist, clinical nutritionist and vegan nutritionist and founded her own sports science training institute (tristyle.at) based in Vienna in 2013. At the living room talk at the Balance Resort Stegersbach on Saturday, 16.9, she talks about the relevance of nutrition for a healthy lifestyle - for health-conscious people and athletes of all levels. 

DR. CLAUDIA MAINAU

For the medical doctor and certified Ayurvedic physician, the human being as a unity of body, soul and spirit is in the foreground. Because nutrition has a direct impact on our well-being, Dr Mainau, as an ÖAK-certified nutritional physician, also pursues a holistic approach to healthy well-being in nutritional coaching for people who want to fully develop their vitality potential. Let the weekly lectures at the Balance Resort inspire you to achieve a sustainable increase in your well-being.
