On September weekends, everything revolves around the diversity of plant-based cuisine. Look forward to creative menus featuring superfoods, seasonal ingredients from our very own permaculture garden and perfectly balanced flavours. Renowned guest chefs bring their own unique plant-based signature – and those with a sweet tooth will discover vegan delights from our patisserie. Two chefs, two stories, one conviction: plant-based cuisine can be heartfelt, down-to-earth and above all delicious. Laura brings the soul of the Austrian inn to the vegan plate, while Sarah draws on 16 years of culinary experience to show how uncomplicated and everyday-friendly vegan cooking can be. Their shared message: Regional. Seasonal. Simply good.

VIRTSKUCHL by Hannah Baresch

11.–13.09.2026

Nutrition educator and founder of Virtskuchl, Hannah Baresch reimagines traditional Austrian dishes with a modern twist. Her cooking is inspired by childhood memories, shaped by simplicity, and driven by a love of honest, flavourful ingredients. The result: regional, refined, and full of depth.

ZIGURI Cookery School by Daniel Reiter

18.–20.09.2026

Daniel Reiter, founder of Vienna's first purely vegan cooking school, combines expertise, mindfulness and true craftsmanship. His dishes reveal the depth and quality that exceptional plant-based cuisine has to offer – from root to last bite.

In the programme:

  • Friday: Evening menu with creations by Daniel Reiter and an after-dinner talk
  • Saturday: Cooking workshop celebrating international cuisine, recipe included
  • Sunday: Live show cooking with vegan BBQ on the OFYR, part of our light lunch

Chez Fritz by Isabella & Arik

25.–27.09.2026

What began as a passion in their own kitchen became Vienna's patisserie sensation: Isabella, a trained master pastry chef, and Arik put everything on the line – and won. At Chez Fritz, artisanal precision meets plant-based conviction. Every croissant, every tart, every macaron: handmade, animal-free and thoughtfully crafted down to the last detail. Their proof: indulgence and sustainability are no contradiction.

In the programme:

  • Friday: Dessert from the show kitchen, served by Chez Fritz
  • Saturday: Baking class "Modern Patisserie" – mindful indulgence with less sugar, recipe included

Mein Fellkind

01.–31.09.2026

Our four-legged guests are in for a treat too: upon arrival, a special surprise from Mein Fellkind will be waiting in the room. And for those who fancy it, join a workshop and bake a homemade dog cake together with your furry companion – a pawsitively wonderful experience for humans and dogs alike.

Südobst Stegersbach

In the fermentation workshop with Sara-Lisa Gossy, everything revolves around wild fermentation, living cultures and the rich flavour depth of regional stone fruit from Stegersbach. She shares her knowledge of bubbling, ripening and savouring – hands-on, practical and full of aroma.

Merkur Health – Focus Weeks

This September, your health, wellbeing, and self-care take centre stage too – in collaboration with Biogena, Panaceo, Dr. Eberhardt, and Vinoble Cosmetics. Expect workshops, skin analyses, aromatherapy sessions, and much more throughout the month.

Culinary offerings in September

Throughout the month, we’re expanding our daily offering with creative plant-based options – light, seasonal, and full of flavour. Here’s what your culinary day could look like:

  • A wide selection of vegan dishes at the breakfast buffet
  • Light lunch with soup and two plant-based mains (optionally available with fish or meat)
  • Dinner featuring a variety of vegan starters, main courses, and desserts to choose from
