Absolutely – as a "Welcome Dogs" hotel, Balance Resort Stegersbach warmly welcomes not only its guests but their four-legged companions too. The result is a feel-good holiday for the whole family, paws included.
To help your four-legged friend feel at home from the very first moment, a small welcome package awaits on arrival, including a dog blanket, food and water bowls. A dog bar with fresh water is also available at the hotel entrance. The "Welcome Dogs" extra is charged at 30 Euro per night and room.
Dogs are welcome everywhere around the resort – whether on a relaxed walk along the Chakra Trail, which leads to various power spots, or on an outing to Lake Rauchwart. Only the sunbathing lawn by the lake remains reserved for two-legged guests.
To ensure every guest can fully enjoy the culinary highlights, the breakfast room and restaurant remain dog-free zones. Don't worry – your dog is very welcome in the lobby and at the bar. Guests who don't want to be without their dog at breakfast or dinner can be offered a table at the Atrium Bar.

To ensure both two-legged and four-legged guests feel safe and comfortable, dogs are required to be kept on a leash in all public areas of the hotel.
Should the need arise, the resort's surroundings are well equipped: both the Stegersbach veterinary practice and the Kemeten small animal centre, about a 15-minute drive away, are quickly reachable should your dog ever require veterinary care.
We prefer to clean your room while you and your dog are present together, or while you're out on a walk. Simply let reception know when you'll both be out, and our team will be happy to take care of your room in the meantime.
