Family Adventure Hike
Schladming turns family holidays into genuine experiences – and the guided family adventure hike to Duisitzkarsee is a perfect example. Every Wednesday, the adventure begins at 9.30 am at the Eschachalm trailhead – past a rushing waterfall, through the forest over the Kesslerboden, all the way up to a crystal-clear mountain lake at 1,648 m above sea level, its surface mirroring the peaks of the Schladminger Tauern. Around 500 metres of ascent and 2.5 hours of walking lie between start and finish – and at the top, a campfire with sausages and time to simply breathe it all in.
With the Schladming-Dachstein Card, participation is free for everyone; children hike free of charge. Pre-registration is required by 5.00 pm the day before.
