Do guests have to wear orinasal masks?

Guests are not obligated to wear oronasal masks and/or gloves within the resort. Staff members will at all times wear oronasal masks as well as gloves. Protection barriers are put in place at all spots where a high frequency of guests is expected (reception, SPA reception, Adriana Bar, restaurant buffet etc.). We will of course have oronasal masks as well as gloves available at the reception for distribution. We urge you to pack your own masks with you. When leaving the resort it is obligatory to wear an oronasal mask in closed public spaces (like stores, malls, petrol stations, public transport, taxis), to keep a physical distance from others (a minimum of 1.5 meters) and to practice hand hygiene.

What is the minimum Social distance required?

The minimum distance required is 1,5 m in all public areas as well as disinfectant dispensers with guidelines for proper hand hygiene will be ensured greatly in all public areas (SPA, restaurants, pools, beach, lobby and other public areas).

Will programs and activities take place at the destination?

Outdoor activities are allowed and not affected by government regulations, but social distancing (especially at the beachfront) as well as practicing good hygiene are desired. Sport equipment will be disinfected after each use. 

Are there any changes in working hours?

The opening hours of our Restaurant Magnolia remain the same:
Breakfast: 07:30 - 11:00
Lunch (a la carte): 12:30 – 19:00
Dinner: 19:00 – 22:00.

The Adriana Bar will work from 08:00 - 24:00.

What do I have consider when visiting Restaurant Magnolia?

We ensure that the guidelines provided by the Croatian Institute for Public Health are strictly observed. In addition, we have taken measures to assure maximum hygiene and safety. We are taking great effort to provide the usual excellent Falkensteiner service despite the necessary safety measures and to maintain the variety of our usual offers. All guidelines including regular personal hygiene (hand washing guide) are strictly controlled internally. According to current guidelines in Croatia, there are no restrictions about the maximum number of people that may sit together at the same table. 

What do I have to consider when visiting Adriana Bar?

According to CIPH recommendations it is not allowed to sit and consume drinks at the bar counter. Guests can order and pick up their order at the bar, adhering to social distancing measures (1,5 m).

What do I have to consider when using the facilities in the Acquapura SPA Center? 

When entering the SPA area, you will have to stick to the minimum distance required and disinfect your hands accordingly. The steam bath will not be in operation until further notice. However, the Finnish sauna will be operated, strictly following the guidelines provided by the CIPH. During massages and beauty treatments it is mandatory for our staff to wear oronasal masks as well as gloves. The sun loungers and the pool area have been arranged having the new measures in mind and we thus kindly ask you to adhere to them. The Finnish sauna, relaxation areas, gym, indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi as well as solariums will welcome a maximum number of guests in accordance with CIPH guidelines.

If I suspect to have any symptoms of COVID-19 what do I have to do?

If you suspect a COVID-19 infection (symptoms such as fever, dry cough, shortage of breath or fatigue) we urge you to contact the reception at +385 (0) 23 206 300 or at the extension 6300 so that our staff can forward your case to the health authority with whom the hotel cooperates accordingly which will be contacted and will take over the further procedure in accordance with the legal medical guidelines. 

Is there a doctor available at the resort? 

Yes, a doctor will be available for phone consultations and on site daily in certain periods.

Do you check the body temperatures of your guests on a daily basis? 

We are not checking temperatures of our guests, but we do so with our employees, following our internal guidelines for coronavirus and COVID-19 prevention.

The latest check-out time has been switched to until 10 a.m. while the check-in time (from 15:00) remains the same.

According to government regulations, there are no specific restrictions in place that regard outdoor activities such as boat trips, excursions or rentals. Social distancing and keeping good hand hygiene is endorsed.

45% of the total amount of the booked stay

Payment can be done with bank transfer before arrival to hotel or it can be paid directly at hotel reception, with a guarantee of a credit card details (type, credit card number and expiry date).
The hotel reserves the right to preauthorize the credit card before arrival, as well as to use it for eventual extra service charges which might occur during the stay in hotel or for any other incidentals such as damage done while staying in a hotel.
Please note that in case of payment with credit card - the amount from your credit card will be taken in Kuna and it could come to some differences because of the exchange rates, unfortunately we are not able to influence possible differences in exchange rates or credit card companies’ commissions.
Prices are assigned in EURO. Payments can be done with EURO (with the fix currency exchange rate 7,60 Kuna), but due to Croatian law an exchange to local currency KUNA (at daily rate plus handling fee) has to be done before setting the invoice.
We kindly advice you that the best way is a prepayment of the whole amount by bank transfer before arrival to avoid currency fluctuation to the following bank account.
