Gipfelstürmer' Via Ferrata Certificate

Your first step into the vertical world of the Dachstein region – with the right knowledge to back it up.
Clipping into a steel cable for the first time on a via ferrata is an experience that calls for solid preparation. The 'Gipfelstürmer' beginner's course gives you exactly that: the fundamental techniques of via ferrata climbing, how to handle your equipment correctly, how to clip in and out safely, and the essentials of route planning and weather awareness. State-certified mountain guides lead the course – hands-on, personal, and packed with insider knowledge about the region.
The course runs every Monday from early June in Ramsau am Dachstein. Meet at 4.00 pm at the 'Alte Mühle' car park (Rössing 16, Ramsau am Dachstein), with a return at 6.30 pm. Registration is required by noon on the day. In the event of bad weather, the course is cancelled and the course fee is fully refunded.
