Today many people have food intolerances or want to abstain from animal products entirely. For us, it goes without saying that we respect that by catering to your individual dietary requirements. In our restaurants vegan meals are available on request. From home-made vegan dishes, and special commercially-available vegan convenience products and seasonal fruit. For breakfast enjoy seasonal products such as fruit, vegetables, jams and margarine. We are happy to serve you vegan spreads when you order in advance. Gluten-free and/or lactose-free products such as pasta, baked goods, spreads and cereals are all available on request.  

If you have a diet which is vegan and/or gluten or lactose-free, we request that you inform us at the time of booking or a couple of days before you arrive.

In case of a cancellation of your stay, we will charge the following cancellation fees:

6 to 4 days before arrival:

45% of the total amount of the booked stay

3 days to 1 day before arrival:

75% of the total amount of the booked stay

On the day of arrival:

90% of the total amount of the booked stay


For travel period 06.07. - 23.08. the following cancelation policy will apply:

13 to 7 days before arrival:

45% of the total amount of the booked stay

6 days to 1 day before arrival:

75% of the total amount of the booked stay

On the day of arrival:

90% of the total amount of the booked stay


In case of a no-show, unused rooms or an early departure,  we reserve the right to charge 100% of the total amount.

In case of an early departure or a late arrival, no refund on package arrangements is possible.

We recommend you to purchase travel cancellation insurance.

To guarantee your booking kindly transfer a deposit of 15% of total amount within 14 days from confirmation to our account. Alternatively, you could send us a credit card details. The final payment have to be settled 4 weeks prior to arrival.

Prices are assigned in EURO. Payments can be done with EURO (with the fix currency exchange rate 7,50 Kuna), but due to Croatian law an exchange to local currency KUNA (at daily rate plus handling fee) has to be done before setting the invoice. Alternatively, you could send us your credit card details 4 weeks prior to arrival (type, credit card number and expiry date). The hotel reserves the right to authorize the credit card before arrival.

Since we know that booking a trip currently causes insecurity for many people, and because we would like to remove this worry from our guests, we have developed a Premium Corona Travel Insurance for you with HanseMerkur Versicherung. Should you be unable to start your trip or have to depart from your trip earlier due to a Covid infection or suspected case of infection, the insurance will cover your entire travel costs without deduction.

The following scenarios are covered:

  • A quarantine ordered in written form by the public health department or doctor
  • The transportation by third parties (e.g. airport personnel) or the entry into the rental object is denied by the owner at the beginning of the journey

When cancellations are not covered:

Do guests have to wear oronasal masks at the hotel?

Mouth-nose-protection is obligatory in Croatia in all public indoor areas, including our hotels. At your seat in the restaurant and during the consumption of food and drinks you may remove your mouth and nose protection.

What do I have consider when visiting the pool?

Social distancing as well as practicing good hand hygiene are desired. Before entering the pools, swimmers must take a shower and go through the pre-pools to disinfect their feet.
Deckchairs will be separated in such a way as to ensure physical distance from in relation to other guests unless they are members of the same family or group. The hotel staff will disinfect the deckchairs several times a day. Deckchair will be assigned by room number. Guests will use the same deckchair until departure.

What can I expected in Falkyland and children’s animation?

Restrictions in the form of a limited number of children are to be expected for Falkyland. During the activities of children's groups in various creative-educational contents or games special attention will be paid to maintaining physical distance.

Will programs and activities take place?

Especially there will be more outdoor activities. A physical distance of 2 meters will be maintained for the entire duration of the activity, including arrival, preparation and departure. Spacing means the distance between all present animators and participants.

What about outdoor activities and beaches?

Outdoor activities are allowed and not affected by government regulations, but social distancing a minimum of 2 meters, especially at the beachfront, as well as practicing good hygiene are desired.

What do I have consider when visiting the restaurant?

According to the current guidelines in Croatia, a maximum of 4 adults plus their children may sit at one table. Please wait at the entrance of the restaurant with the marked distance to other guests until our service team welcomes you and accompanies you personally to the table. All tables will be set up according to the social distancing measures. According to occupancy, double seating will be provided.

Is the Falkensteiner buffet available as usual?

In order to guarantee the minimum distance regulation, we have modified and adapted buffets accordingly in the form of the gastronomy regulation. Distribution of food exclusively through our employees. In the buffet area, a maximum of 20 guests are allowed at once. This also applies to the consumption of hot and cold drinks specialities, which are served exclusively by our employees.

Will the check-in/check-out times change?

The check-in/check-out times remain as they are at the moment and will not be changed (check-in from 3 pm, check-out until 10 am). At the check-out there will be the possibility to receive the invoice at the reception.

Can I pay cash?

Contactless payment is recommended but cash payments are also accepted.

If I suspect to have any symptoms of the COVID 19 what do I have to do?

In that case please contact immediately our Health and Safety team (contact provided at the reception) who will take care of you further.

Is there a doctor available in place?

Yes, local ambulance is distanced only 100meters from hotel.

Do you check temperatures daily of your guests?

No, but we are checking our employees temperature daily. By the request our health and safety team we will measure temperature of guests.
