NAUTICAL ACTIVITIES

From this year, you can discover the world of sailing through dedicated dinghy courses. Dinghies are simple, safe boats, ideal for learning the fundamentals of sailing. The programme begins with theoretical lessons and boat preparation, followed by practical sessions on the water.

During the course, you will learn how to:

• master basic sailing techniques, manoeuvres, knots and nautical terminology
• steer the boat at the helm
• trim the sails correctly
• tack and gybe while constantly assessing wind direction
• manage weight distribution on board
• bring the boat to a controlled stop at a chosen point
• sail independently in and out of the harbour

For more experienced sailors, dinghy hire is also available for independent sailing.
