Free ski pass for the little ones

From the 2025/26 winter season, all children up to six years of age can ski for free in the Schladming-Dachstein region.

What does this mean for your family?

  • Children born in 2020 or later receive a free ski pass – allowing you to explore the “4-Mountain Ski Area” (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, Reiteralm) as well as the family ski resorts Galsterberg, Fageralm and Rittisberg together.
  • Even a trip to the Dachstein Glacier is free of charge for our youngest guests.
  • The region offers family-friendly infrastructure such as certified ski schools, kids’ areas and snow playgrounds.

Good to know

  • The free ticket must be issued at the lift ticket offices - a Keycard deposit of € 3,- applies.
  • Eligibility: children born in 2020 or later.
