Advent at the Talbach

From 27 November to 20 December 2026, everything will once again revolve around the Christ Child and his helpers. Sharing the joyful anticipation of Christmas, just like in the old days. This year, the area along the Talbach stream around the Talbachschenke will once again be transformed into a charming Advent market. The excitement of childhood, the scent of Christmas in the air, festive songs in your ears, Styrian delicacies and handmade goods are waiting for you!

Opening times Advent am Talbach:

• Friday, 27 November to Sunday, 29 November 2026
• Friday, 04 December to Sunday, 06 December 2026
• Friday, 11 December to Sunday, 13 December 2026
• Friday, 18 December to Sunday, 20 December 2026

Details:

• Opening hours: 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm
• The food and drink stalls are open until 9.00 pm.

A very special highlight of the Schladming Mountain Christmas is the “Advent Magic in the Talbach Gorge”. On two Saturdays, the gorge will once again shine in its wild and romantic pre-Christmas atmosphere. The walking path along the Talbach will be staged with lighting effects, accompanied by singing, music and storytelling.
