Schladming is famous far beyond the borders of Styria and Austria. Thanks to its long history as a World Cup destination and the annual Nightrace, every winter sports fan will immediately know what all the talk's about. The 2013 World Cup and the 2017 Special Olympics Winter Games provided additional publicity. The venue of the annual FIS Cross-Country World Cup is also located in our region of Ramsau am Dachstein.

Thanks to its location in the centre of the 4-mountain ski area, you have access to over 123 kilometres of slopes in Schladming. The modern infrastructure (ski lifts, snow cannons, catering, etc.) ensures fun on the slopes from December to Easter.

By the way, the Falkensteiner Hotel Schladming, with its excellent location, is only a few minutes' walk from the Planet Planai cable car valley station.
