Eisriesenwelt is the largest ice cave in the world. Closed during winter.

2,700 metres – that's how high Styria's Dachstein glacier rises above sea level. A day on the glacier is anything but bland: An ascent on the panoramic cable car, the view from the unique Sky Walk, and then the extraordinary ice figures in the Ice Palace. Admont Abbey is the largest monastic library in the world, and one of the great artistic syntheses of Europe's late Baroque. This treasurehouse of knowledge comprises over 200,000 books, including books from the 8th century. Included in the Steiermark Card and Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard.

The 13th century castle is a historic site for art and culture, with a collection of over 40,000 folkloric, zoological, mineralogical, geological and archaeological objects. Steiermarkt Card (unlimited free entry), included in the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard.

The town of Hallstatt has been named a World Heritage Site. Above the town lies the oldest salt mine in the world, at over 4,000 years old. The town was even copied by a Chinese architect, and rebuilt in China.

Climbing the mountain is a cinch!

The biggest trampoline in the Schladming-Dachstein Region: Reiteralm-XL-Jump. Fun for the whole family!

The flowline starts at the Planai mountain station and leads in an easy difficulty level to the middle station. Perfect for beginners and children can make their first runs in the bike park here, but experienced riders will also get their money's worth!

In the middle of Hopsiland and only 5 minutes from the Planai gondola mountain station! Coordination, dexterity and courage are trained here when trying out the new sport on one of the 3 practice areas. Bikes are available from the age of 3.

Who will win at Downhill Disc Golf and can solve the riddle questions at each station? Whoever proves their marksmanship deserves a large portion of ice cream at the finish line!

At the highest playground in Styria, a variety of activities await you! From marble run action over gold washing fun to a water world - boredom is a non-existent word here! 

During the spectacular chairlift ascent, you can get a glimpse into the enclosures of 300 Alpine animals.
