Four evenings, one artist residency: an autumn told through the hands of those who know how to create.

From September to December, Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo opens its doors to the new Art programme: four Art Talks with outstanding names from the territory and a live artist residency. Painting, sculpture, tailoring, textile and glass intertwine in a season celebrating craftsmanship, through evening encounters, artworks on display in the hotel, and days spent alongside those who create.

Art Talks

Four evenings with outstanding names from the territory.

Each Art Talk is a free evening, booking required, during which an exceptional guest talks live about their own art or craft, interviewed by Simone Bais, art consultant. Four encounters, from September to December, weaving together painting, sculpture, tailoring, textile and glass: a journey through the finest craftsmanship of our territory. Each evening closes with an aperitivo hosted by La Viarte winery.

THE ARTISTS AND MASTERS

Five internationally renowned protagonists share their art, their craft, their passion.

LUIGI BALLARIN & VALERIO BACCIOLO

Painter and sculptor — Equilibri Naturali
Painting and sculpture in dialogue, between earth and sky. Ballarin has exhibited at the Sharjah International Biennial and Palazzo Strozzi.

FRANCO PUPPATO

Master tailor — Genio ed Eleganza
A true Venetian tailoring institution, awarded the Trofeo Arbiter as Italy's finest tailor. He has dressed half the Chinese government, emirs and royalty from around the world.

RUBELLI

Textile manufacture since 1858 — Tessuti Regali
Fabrics that dress the Metropolitan Museum and the White House. The Bolshoi Theatre curtain in Moscow is woven with 500 kilograms of pure gold thread.

VENINI

Murano glass — Splendori Eterni
Since 1921, Venini's glass has featured in the permanent collections of the MoMA and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

A week-long artist residency at the hotel: Bokun reinterprets our falcon logo live.

Programme highlights

Four Art Talks mark the autumn and winter, from September to December. Alongside the evenings, a live artist residency completes the programme with Art Studio, for experiencing art not only as spectators but as part of its making, day by day.

Luigi Ballarin and Valerio Bacciolo — Equilibri Naturali
Thursday, 24 September 2026
Painter Luigi Ballarin and sculptor Valerio Bacciolo open the season with a live dialogue between painting and sculpture, earth and sky, stillness and motion. Ballarin has exhibited at the Sharjah International Biennial and at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence; Bacciolo's Mater Dogale stands at Punta Sabbioni. The evening is hosted by Simone Bais, art consultant.

Franco Puppato - Genio ed Eleganza

Franco Puppato, a true Venetian tailoring institution, awarded the Trofeo Arbiter as Italy's finest tailor, talks live about the art of tailoring: his unique method based on trigonometry, his international clientele, and his atelier, active in Venice for over sixty years. The evening is hosted by Simone Bais, art consultant.

Rubelli - Tessuti Regali

Rubelli, a Venetian textile manufacture since 1858, tells the story of how a precious fabric comes to life: from the historical archive at Ca' Corner Spinelli, home to over five thousand textile documents, to the royal palaces and museums its fabrics dress worldwide, to the pure gold thread of the Bolshoi Theatre curtain in Moscow. The evening is hosted by Simone Bais, art consultant.

Venini - Splendori Eterni

Venini, since 1921 one of the names that has shaped Murano glass into a design language, closes the season: from collaborations with Gio Ponti and Carlo Scarpa to works held in the permanent collections of the Met, MoMA, Guggenheim and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The evening is hosted by Simone Bais, art consultant.

Art Studio — Mitja Bokun

Oct 19-25, 2026

For a week, Slovenian illustrator Mitja Bokun, known for international collaborations with Vivienne Westwood and Shiseido, works live in the hotel's common spaces, reinterpreting our falcon logo through his own immediate, instantly recognisable style. The creative process will be visible to guests every day.
