Ski Opening Kronplatz
The Kronplatz ski area kicks off the winter season on 28 November 2026 with some exciting new features. The new 10-seater Kronplatz 1+2 gondola takes winter sports enthusiasts from Reischach to the summit even faster and more comfortably. Especially practical for families: for the first time, skis can be taken directly into the gondola.
There are also plenty of upgrades elsewhere on the mountain. The new 8-seater Ruis gondola and the Dolomiti chairlift with weather protection hood and heated seats provide extra comfort on cold winter days.
There’s something new to discover on the slopes too: the red Lumen run will be extended to around 2.7 kilometres, while the new blue Weiden ski route creates a connection to the existing mid-station. This gives Kronplatz even more to offer young and grown-up winter sports enthusiasts alike, making family ski days even more varied.
