Thousand-year-old Oak Tree

Take a romantic walk through untouched natural surroundings to the thousand-year oak. The oak grows in Bierbaum, has a circumference of 8.75m, and, at an estimated 1,200 years of age, is the oldest oak in Europe. The beautiful natural wonder can easily be reached via Bad Blumau circular trail 3 or via the B7 or FF8 bike paths.
