The Full Moon Festival

The Full Moon Festival 2026 takes place from August 6 to 9 on the Zadar waterfront, offering a unique blend of tradition, gastronomy, and Mediterranean atmosphere. During the event, public lighting is turned off and the area is illuminated by torches and candles, creating a special ambiance under the full moon.

The waterfront transforms into a large open-air stage and marketplace featuring a rich selection of local dishes and products – from fresh fish and seafood to cheese, prosciutto, figs, and local wines and spirits, with the added attraction of boats turned into small traditional taverns.

The program is enriched by klapa singing, folklore, and dance, authentically showcasing the traditions of the Zadar region.
