Oktoberfest in the Mountains
The Montafon takes the best of both worlds: the tradition and cosiness of a classic Bavarian Oktoberfest, paired with the incomparable panorama of the Silvretta Alps. On Saturday, 5 September 2026, the Nova Stoba on the Versettla Bahn mountain station in Gaschurn hosts a full day of Lederhosen atmosphere, Weißwürste, Brezn and good beer, with live music by die Qurligen 5 and the Oberkärntner Quintett ensuring an authentic Wiesn feel at altitude. No table reservations required; the last descent is at 18:00.
