37th Spring Festival with Horses

The spring festival of horses has a long tradition in Ramsau am Dachstein. Lovingly placed flower figures, carriages drawn by beautifully decorated horses and a parade unique in Austria enrich the festival program. Of course, the supporting program also includes a lot of costume and tradition. Musical hikes, traditional dance groups and Schuhplattl´n and musical performances that make the marquee sound.

The highlight is the parade on Sunday. Flower-decorated horse-drawn carriages form the spring pageant of the horses together with traditional costume, music and Schnalzer groups from the region. In total, over 100 horses from different breeds will be in "action". The proceeds of the festival will go to the Ramsau am Dachstein mountain rescue and social projects.
