Falkensteiner Family Hotel Montafon sources 100% green electricity, complemented by its own photovoltaic system, and relies on district heating as well as district cooling. In addition, the building is cooled using lake water from the Latschau reservoir.
Sustainability at Falkensteiner
Together for a sustainable future
Sustainability is a core part of our corporate strategy and our understanding of hospitality. At all our locations, we work on the same ecological focus areas: energy, water, biodiversity, waste and resources – as well as our role as host, employer and economic partner to the regions we operate in. We publish our progress in these areas – including our group-wide greenhouse gas balance – every year in the FMTG Sustainability Report (see below). How each property implements these focus areas depends individually on its location, building and region.

Transparency & Reporting
Transparent communication about what has been achieved so far is important to us. You can find out more about the group-wide ESG strategy of the Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG) and specific measures in our current FMTG Sustainability Report at www.fmtg.com/verantwortung
