Opening with the 2025/26 Winter Season - A new chapter begins at Katschberg

Starting in December 2025, the brand-new Almbahn—a state-of-the-art 8-seater gondola lift—will offer guests a completely new riding experience. Replacing the existing triple chairlift, the new lift brings more comfort, wind stability, and sustainability to the mountain.

Comfortable ascent to Aineck – in any weather
For over 40 years, the Almbahn has connected the Katschberg center with the popular Aineck peak. The new gondola continues this tradition into a modern future: with weatherproof cabins, increased wind resistance up to 80 km/h, and cutting-edge technology, the ride becomes not only more reliable but also significantly more pleasant—a true benefit for all winter sports enthusiasts and leisure seekers.
