Advent Market in Bartholomäberg
On Sunday 29 November 2026, the village centre of Bartholomäberg hosts the Bärger Adventmarkt. Market stalls open from 11 am, and at 1 pm St Nicholas and Krampus pay a visit and bring a Klosasäckli, the traditional St Nicholas gift bag. At the same time the Frühmesshaus Museum opens its doors and hosts an Advent reading, so the market brings together local tradition, regional stallholders and a cultural programme in a single afternoon. For families staying in the Montafon it is a genuinely local start to the Advent season.
Programme
- 10 am: festive church service
- from 11 am: market
- 11 am to 4 pm: open day at the Frühmesshaus Museum
- 1 pm: visit from St Nicholas and Krampus with a Klosasäckli
- 2 pm: Advent reading with Erna Ganahl in the museum parlour
