You can experience the wild waters of the Puster Valley by canyoning or rafting. This requires a pinch of courage, absolutely no fear of water and the desire to explore untouched places. Especially canyoning is about combining different activities: hiking, climbing, roping down and swimming. Explore shallow side rivers, narrow gorges and thunderous rapids while rafting in the waters around Kronplatz and let yourself drift along

Those who prefer a more comfortable bike ride are in good hands in the valley. You can cycle along the beautiful landscape between Bruneck and Lienz. The route leads to various alpine hotspot towns such as Innichen or Toblach up to Lienz. And for those who find the route too long, simply change to the South Tyrol Railway, which covers exactly the same stages and brings you safely back to Bruneck.

Hiking in the Dolomites means enjoying the complete package of nature: being outdoors with the sun in your heart and breathing in the fresh mountain air. Enjoy the gigantic panoramas that this sun-kissed region has to offer.
The Pustertal Valley and the Kronplatz is a hiking paradise for everyone: easy hikes along forest roads or demanding tours to the most beautiful mountain huts.

Challenging trails, sunny days and a unique scenery: what more could a mountainbiker's heart wish for? 
Step by step, the best trails in South Tyrol take you up high to the mountain and down steeply again. There are tours and trails for every level of difficulty, the Puster Valley mountains provide plenty of variety. 
The bike trails on the Kronplatz can be reached by cable car: either at the valley station in Reischach - just a few meters from the hotel, Valdaora, on the Furkelpass or San Vigilio.

The Pustertal valley around the Kronplatz is a paradise for all climbing enthusiasts: the climbing possibilities vary from fixed rope routes to open-air climbing gardens or bouldering and climbing halls. There is something for everyone. 
And in order to warm up your muscles perfectly for the upcoming climbing activities, you can climb the first routes on the hotel's own indoor climbing wall.

There are no limits to the climbing dreams in South Tyrol. The Dolomites around the Kronplatz lure with impressive climbing routes in different degrees of difficulty and only those who reach the very top are rewarded with the most beautiful views.

Go on the longest and most spectacular Alpine roller coaster in Italy. Experience the adrenaline rush and whizz 1800 m down into the valley at up to 40 km/h. Special highlights of the “Klausbergflitzer” are the jumps and 360 degree circles.

Experience the refreshing tradition of Kneipping amidst the picturesque landscape of South Tyrol. With a total of 119 kilometres of ski runs, Kronplatz is one of the top winter sports destinations and attracts numerous snow enthusiasts. That is why it is the most popular active mountain in the region.

The Puster Valley and its side valleys offer a wide variety of possibilities for all skiing professionals - with four large and three smaller ski areas there are many slopes to explore, whether on skis or snowboard.

The biathlon mecca in South Tyrol is undoubtedly located in Antholz, where the Biathlon World Cup is held every year. The cross-country ski slopes run for over 60 kilometers through the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park and will leave even the toughest athletes breathless with their stunning views.

Through snow-covered forests and with perfectly groomed trails in the valley or in high altitude, cross-country skiing in South Tyrol offers just the right conditions for endurance athletes, but also for everyone who wants to enjoy the wonderful winter scenery.   
The first cross-country ski runs are at 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel in the Reischach Sports Park.
Around Kronplatz there are also the cross-country skiing areas of Kasern im Ahrntal (45 km), Antholzertal (28 km), Gsieser Tal (34 km) and San Vigilio (18 km).

Tobogganing is always fun, no matter whether you follow the path with your own sledge all the way up, or whether you rent a sledge comfortably on the top of the mountain before you start off. The Kronplatz holiday region offers various possibilities to ski down the slopes on a sledge.
Only a few minutes' walk from the hotel, very comfortable but full of action: take the “Korer” cable car to the top station and then back down to the valley on the toboggan run next to the ski slope.

Ski touring is fascinating and challenging at the same time: climbing up the mountain through untouched slopes, consciously perceiving the silence of the mountains and enjoying nature beyond the prepared slopes.
Kronplatz and the Puster valley are perfect for ski touring. There are various routes for all levels of ability.

If you are passionate about climbing, you don't have to wait until summer. Grab an ice pick, swap your climbing shoes for crampons and climb the ice wall.
Especially fascinating: the Reinbach waterfalls in Sand in Taufers (accessible in only 25 minutes)
