Apfelfesta and Interpoma

The second edition of Apfelfesta 2024 is just around the corner — an extraordinary event celebrating the apple, the true jewel of South Tyrol. Organized by the Bolzano Tourism Board with financial support from the South Tyrolean Apple Consortium and the Leifers Tourism Association, this event offers a valuable opportunity to explore the many facets of this beloved fruit. The City of Bolzano not only sponsors the event but also supports it financially, underlining the importance of the apple for the local region and its people.

On an international level, the apple will also take center stage at another major event: Interpoma, the only international trade fair in the world dedicated entirely to apples. Held every two years, this event is a key meeting point for all players in the industry, as it focuses exclusively on the entire apple value chain — from production and storage to distribution. The fair aims to build on the success of the 2022 edition, which featured 490 exhibitors from 18 countries and welcomed over 16,000 visitors from 70 nations across a 25,000-square-meter exhibition space.
