Republic Square, the National Theatre and Knez Mihailova Street
Belgrade’s main meeting points
Some of Belgrade’s most important buildings are found here, including the National Museum and the National Theatre. The museum has again opened its doors after an extensive renovation with its new permanent collection that represents huge chronological period from Paleolithic period to 20th century art.
Knez Mihailova is the main walking street in the center of Belgrade. It goes from Kalemegdan to the Republic Square and continues to Terazije square, splitting the downtown in two. This street is one of the best places to feel the pulse of the city.
