Katschberg's stream adventure trail takes families on an exciting journey of discovery through nature.

A scavenger hunt with a GPS device ensures a varied day for explorers of nature in the Katschberg region. A GPS device can be obtained at the Aineck valley station, and the first coordinates are available at the mountain station.

The Katschhausen Adventure World offers a petting zoo, playgrounds and a paint workshop to make kid's hearts beat faster.

The horse-drawn sleigh or carriage ride to the Pritzhütte lodge provides romance and delicious food all year round.

The journey on the electric-choo-choo-train through the Pöllatal Nature Reserve takes you through a picturesque landscape.

The Card entitles you to free or discounted admission to numerous excursion destinations, natural wonders, attractions, museums, pools, and lifts throughout Katschberg. This Card is valid during your summer holidays at the Falkensteiner Resort Katschberg. You will receive the Destination Card directly at the reception.

The Falkensteiner Katschberg App provides you with an interactive holiday planner which contains cycling, hiking and mountain tours, in addition to topographical hiking maps of the entire region. All tours contain detailed information like key facts, distance, cumulative height difference and duration, description of the route, and the elevation profile. Start a day full of exciting sporting activities with a ride on the Aineck chair lift up the Katschberg mountain.

Pony pasture: Kids can experience the ponies in their colourful diversity, watch, stroke and ride them. Horse-drawn carriage rides: Travel in a two horse-drawn carriage from Katschberghöhe to Pritzhütte. All are welcome - children and adults, horse riding beginners, hobby riders and returnees. Our staff at the reception will gladly arrange your riding lessons.

The new summer toboggan run is sheltered from the wind and sunny, in the same area as the ski school's practice slope. Interactivity is front and centre: at Katschi's Goldfahrt spectators along the adventure toboggan run are also included in the fun. Here you can make "Gontal" laugh by hitting a buzzer or make a deer roar from a high chair. Of course there is plenty of space around the toboggan run to spectate and relax. Cozy heart-shaped benches and heart plateaus invite you to relax and unwind.

Katschhausen is a particularly worthwhile destination for summer trips for the whole family in the Katschberg holiday region. The children's adventure world revolves around the story of the Katschlings. At the playground, natural spectacles are explained in a playful way and puzzles are solved, all with the help of Katschlinchen, Katschling Junior and Mama and Papa Katschling.

A trip to the Ponyalm horse center sees happy children on the back of a pony, learning a bit of horse knowledge and spending some time at the water play area.

With exciting stories about plants and animals, collecting moss, tree bark and pine cones together, and making hand-crafted fantasy figures, Isi makes the processes of nature tangible and understandable for children.
