Samson parade
When Samson makes his way through St. Michael, the Lungau holds its breath: over two metres tall, weighing 80 kilos, and carried by a single strong bearer who brings the giant to life, accompanied by music, vibrant colours, and centuries of tradition. The Samson Parade is one of the emotional highlights of the Katschberg summer and a living symbol of strength and community. Witness this impressive spectacle up close – with festive music by the St. Michael town band, the historic guard, and the traditional Samson dance right in front of Falkensteiner Hotel Cristallo. A true highlight of the “Katschberger HoamArt” – for everyone who loves to feel and experience local culture.
