Around the Nassfeld in the Carnic Alps - in the Rosskofel massif as well as on the Trogkofel and Gartnerkofel - there are some attractive climbing possibilities. One of the most attractive routes - the "Däumling" - is located at the freely accessible Gartnerkofel massif. With difficulty level B/C and a length of 500 metres, 150 metres of altitude difference are overcome. Further up, at the top of the rock tower, a great view of the Alps awaits you.

On over 1000 kilometers of marked hiking trails, 25 themed trails as well as long-distance hiking and pilgrim trails, hiking enthusiasts can really unfold their hiking potential. The breathtaking mountain landscape is dominated by the Gailtal Alps (Drauzug) on one side and the Carnic Alps on the other. 46 marked mountain bike and bicycle tours - including 8 single trails - can be ridden at all levels of ability and altitude. Many mountain bike routes, the "MEX-Line I" trail directly in Tröpolach and the the "Nature Lines" provide a vast variety for the likes of all bike fans. Three summer cable cars with bike transport provide a comfortable "uphill" if required. Tip: Arrive directly at the hotel. The over 4 km long flow trail "MEX - Line I" stretches from the Gmanberg at 1044 m to Tröpolach. This trail runs over forest and meadow passages and includes steep curves and jumps.

In the middle of the World of Mountains & Lakes, holidaymakers embark on an adventurous journey along the Gail. The 122-kilometre-long river runs partially through a deep gorge. From canyoning to river tubing and kayaking, adventurers and water fans have all kinds of options for water sports.
