Agostino loves the rhythm of the mountains. In winter, he carves wide, technical turns on the legendary Piste No. 6 in Gargellen. In summer, he swaps his skis for his motorbike and enjoys the curves over the Furkajoch. This blend of focus and freedom provides the inspiration he passes on to our guests every day. For him, the Montafon is more than just a backdrop – it is a source of clarity and new energy.

Riccarda Manhart – Spa Manager

Between Alpine wellness and the scent of mountain meadows.

As Spa Manager, Riccarda knows exactly how important regeneration is. Her perfect day begins on the sunny slopes of Gargellen and ends with a relaxed lunch at the Kesselhütte. In summer, she loves cycling to the Vergaldaalpe and hiking up to the Heimatspitze at 2,685 metres. The reward? A breathtaking panorama and a hearty Alpine platter. It’s a way of life that she also brings to our spa area.

Ethel Volmert – Executive Housekeeper

Exploring with Winston the Golden Retriever.

Ethel is currently discovering the Montafon with fresh eyes. To balance her demanding daily routine in housekeeping, she seeks the silence of unspoilt valleys with her dog, Winston. Her ultimate insider tip is the Obwaldhütte: a gentle winter hike crowned by a creamy latte macchiato and the best topfenstrudel (curd cheese strudel) in the region. This is where she gathers the warmth that makes our hotel feel like a true home away from home.

Stefan Gabl – Executive Chief Engineer

Where technology meets tradition and mountain farming.

For Stefan, true happiness is found in the nature of Vorarlberg. Whether skiing with his family or tending to his own mountain farm, the mountains are his lifeblood. In summer, he is drawn to Lake Wiegensee or the Schesaplana summit. As Executive Chief Engineer, he ensures perfection behind the scenes, while privately enjoying the freedom of the peaks. A true Montafon local who never loses his down-to-earth spirit.

Emma Westreicher – Human Resource Manager

From her first ski lesson to the summit by 7:00 am.

Emma grew up on the Golm; for her, the ski resort is a piece of childhood. Today, she enjoys the perfect "Einkehrschwung" (stop-off) there with a fluffy Germknödel in the sun. In summer, she heads high up: before sunrise, she hikes to the Schesaplana to stand at 2,964 metres just as the first light touches the peaks. She uses this deep connection to the region to recruit the best talent for our team with great passion.

Anja Descher – Administration Assistant

Where the view becomes a daily adventure.

Anja’s comfort zone begins where the air gets thinner. Her heart beats for the "Drei Türme" (Three Towers) and the magical sunrise at the Tilisuna Hut. Whether on a mountain bike or skis, Anja knows the best places to stop for a bite, from Sunnahüsli to the Gauertalhaus. The Bielerhöhe, in particular, is a place of power for her, offering peace in every season. She brings this enthusiasm for the heights into our office every single day.
