Cycling & biking
The wonderful Lake Garda offers gorgeous bike trails through stunning landscapes with panoramic views. The routes are very varied - from basic paths for the whole family to routes for experienced cyclists. The cycle network connects South Tyrol in the north with the Po Valley in the south and Venice in the east.
The paths are for the most part traffic-free zones, with a wide variety of routes and different difficulty levels. Bicycles can be rented in many places. To move around Lake Garda, you can use ferries and the Bus & Bike service on the east bank.
Lake Garda offers many opportunities to discover nature. Near Moniga del Garda, experienced hikers will find Parco Alto Garda Bresciano, which encompasses nine communities on the western shore of the lake.
The park boasts many hiking trails varying in difficulty through valleys, forests and mountains. You can start exploring from any place on foot, bicycle and down equestrian trails. If you would like to enjoy a quiet walk, go a few miles up the shore of the lake and hike through olive groves and vineyards, all the while taking in the splendid view of Lake Garda.
