Lake Anterselva

It is the scenic highlight of the Antholz Valley: Lake Anterselva. The mountain lake lies at an altitude of 1,642 m above sea level. With its turquoise waters and the wonderful mountains of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park that surround it, it is one of the most popular destinations for outings to the Puster Valley, alongside Lake Prags. And although the idyllic lake is the third-largest natural lake in South Tyrol, it can be completely circumnavigated (approx. 1 hour walking time).

Lake Prags

Lake Prags lies in the middle of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park. Wedged in a wild and romantic cirque, and towered over by the majestic Seekofel, it is considered the most beautiful lake in the Dolomites. It can be circled in just one and a half hours, in a light walk. The circular route passes a small chapel on the right, under light shade from spruce, larch and pine. The eastern part of the hike is laid out in stages. The Seekofel is beautifully reflected in the lake.
