A glimpse behind the scenes of the Falkensteiner Resort Katschberg reveals some funny moments we like to look back on. An old saying is: “Is the cat gone, the mice dance on tables”. Please do not take this too serious, although our team members are really hard-working mice, but more about that later.
How the mice dance after a successful summer season at Katschberg
A great season closing naturally needs a turbulent celebration which is already made possible already for many years by Pritzhütte in Gontal with their usual warmth. Our tradition starts with a carriage ride from the hotel to the cottage and is a highlight every time. The busy Noriker horses do not only have to carry the weight of the carriage. No, also one or the other songs were sung with enthusiasm.
With the right mood we arrived at the destination and there was a punch reception with Resort Manager Gugi Spielbücher to get us warmed up again. After a short breather, the forks were crossed and we enjoyed the feast. Juicy ribs, steaming vegetables and hearty cheese spaetzle are on the menu, like always. After a satisfying mandatory program the freestyle follows instantly.
Also after this season the team members are honored for their years of loyalty and to some we sadly had to say goodbye. On this way we wish you again all the best on the following journey and are looking forward to post cards and a reunion! So that every team member gets a nice souvenir for the successful summer season 2018, our hotel management gives away great prices and useful little things up to stays in Falkensteiner Hotels.
After some tears were shed, hair and shirts are straightened to sway to lively party music à la Katschberg in an unforgettable night and reflect the past summer season. Anecdotes were told, but also laughed about the one or other little mishap.
Before the misty eyes of saying farewell were dried, the hard-working mice made a great effort. With a healthy portion of humor, devoted team work and loud music, the hotels were cleaned from top to bottom for the coming winter season on Katschberg.
In the Falky Land the great variety of games were checked for completeness and integrity and subsequently thematically linked and stored. In Hotel Cristallo rummykub championships were held, whereas Club Funimation Katschberg discovered wooden sticks artwork architects.
In restaurant and kitchen, as well as at the bar and SPA, the facilities were cleaned and polished in detail so that everything is shining brand-new.
A lot was accomplished in the two days the last guests left Katschberg to make the resort winter proof and holiday-worthy for the next ski vacationists. In that sense the Falkensteiner Resort Katschberg team looks forward to a reunion. Welcome Home!
