NATURE - SIGHTSEEING IN CROATIA

NATIONAL PARK KORNATI ISLANDS/day trip - a beautiful day on the sea! The Kornati islands are the densest uninhabited archipelago in the Mediterranean with approx. 150 islands, and reefs. With a ship you sail by many small islands, and experience in a secluded bay a special bathing and diving paradise.

NATIONAL PARK KRKA WATER FALLS / day trip - the most beautiful Travertine water falls in Europe await you! The river Krka rushes down 17 falls, falling altogether 46 meters! Take time to walk along the riverbank, which takes approx. 1 hour. And you to also have possibility to visit the small village with museum and old water mill. You can use the remaining time, in order to take refreshing bath in the clear river or make dream pictures with your camera.

NATIONAL PARK of PLITVITCER LAKES/day trip - for centuries the water bored into the earth - separately by lime barriers, water falls thunder down 156 m into the depths. In 1979 UNESCO declared this national park as a World Natural Heritage site. Even Winnetou felt at home here, at least in film. You have the choice between a 3-hour round trip and a river trip in electric boats.

NATIONAL PARK PAKLENICA/day trip - walking it by the Canyon of the Paklenica, which is also the main entrance at the same time into the national park. This is most certainly the most valuable nature phenomenon and the bead of the Velebit mountains. Here you find a network of walking ways, from the sea to deep, long over 150 km, the inside the Velebit mountains.

Zadar was the most powerful city at the eastern coast of the Adriatic for two millennia. From the ruins of the Roman forum today the majestic bishop’s residence with the early Christian cathedral rises St. Anastasia (XII. Century), the Romanesque Baptistery and the unique circular pre-Romanesque church of St. Donat, the symbol of the city from the beginning of the 9th Century.

NIN / half-day trip - the former Croatian royal city of Nin was one of the most important cultural centres of the early Croatian state and has unique monuments of unique early Croatian architecture from 8th and 9th Century.
