Indulgent and healthy, Alpine and Mediterranean – that is the philosophy of our Restaurant 1600. And in line with that, our kitchen focuses on fresh and light cuisine, gently cooked natural dishes and presentation, presentation, presentation.
The Restaurant 1600 has 180 seats and is full of friendliness and above all unique charm mornings and evenings.
At our bountiful breakfast buffet, you can choose between a typical South Tyrolean farmer’s breakfast, a healthy fit-for-the-day breakfast or a scrumptious sparkling wine breakfast – or try a little bit of everything. For dinner, you will be served a creative appetiser buffet, a different selection of high-quality Alpine-Mediterranean dishes every day, an international cheese buffet, and a sweet dessert buffet. As the perfect accompaniment to your meal, we recommend one of the fine wines from our wine bar.
And our little guests can enjoy a tasty children’s menu from the separate kid’s buffet.
After dinner, retire to the stylish bar and enjoy a cocktail and the pleasant atmosphere.
Wine country South Tyrol
South Tyrol produces up to a half a million hectolitres of wine every year, 65% of that red wines. From a light Vernatsch (Trollinger) to full-bodied Lagrein wines and powerful, heavy Merlot. Not to forget the many well known white wines: Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Grauburgunder and Riesling.
Visit our climate controlled wine bar with its select wines and take in the scent of the corks. You can enjoy the perfect vintage next to the open fireplace in the lounge with an interesting book from the library. You can choose from over 200 South Tyrolean and international wines at the wine bar. Our sommelier presents our many fine varieties at regular wine tastings.
