The five-star Croatian Hotel & Spa Iadera has been accepted as a member of The Leading Hotels of the World® association as of November. With its Premium Collection the Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group AG (FMTG AG) is pursuing a deliberate strategy of becoming part of the world’s biggest organisation in the luxury hotel sector. The inclusion of a further hotel is planned for 2012.

The five star Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera, which is situated in its own resort of Punta Skala near Zadar and opened on 1 July 2011, impressed decision-makers at The Leading Hotels of the World so much that it was accepted as a member of the world’s most exclusive marketing platform for luxury hotels the first time it applied. The architecture of the house, which bears the signature of the international star architects Boris Podrecca and Matteo Thun, the fantastic 6,000 m² wellness and spa area, the first-class location at the tip of the Punta Skala peninsula and an outstanding service and culinary concept were key factors behind the decision to allow the hotel to carry the coveted title.

In order to qualify for and retain membership, each member of The Leading Hotels of the World must meet strict quality standards, “which we at the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera passed with flying colours during the admission procedures. From the day the hotel was opened, the entire team has performed exceptionally well and was able to convince the representatives of The Leading Hotels of the World of our very high standard of quality. We are going to give our very best and of course we also want to shine within The Leading Hotels of the World community,” said Punta Skala Resort Manager Georg Unterkircher.
With the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera The Leading Hotels of the World Group has gained a year-round design hotel that should impress domestic and international guests alike with a completely new type of winter holiday at the most luxurious spa in Croatia.
