Fane Alpine village
The Fane Village is considered one of the most beautiful Alpine villages of South Tyrol and is a family excursion destination all year.
This genuine Alpine village is located in the upper Valley di Valles, surrounded by mountains and nature. The Fane Village is formes by residential chalets, hay huts, a little chapel and three mountain taverns.
Originally the Fane Village was built as a lazaret for pest or cholera patients. Today it is one of the most loved family destinations of the area. Furthermore, it is starting point for other mountain hikes, such as to the Picco della Croce, the highest peak in the surroundings of the alpine village. Of course also the Fane Village itself is an ideal destination, especially for families.
In winter, you can enjoy tobogganing, from the alpine pasture down into the village. The Fane Village is an excursion for families the whole year round.
