"Blue Flag" awarded to Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik
In July 2011, Falkensteiner's Club Funimation Borik was the only resort in Croatia to be awarded the "Blue Flag" once again for its inspiring commitment and values concerning the water quality and cleanliness of Borik beach. The "Blue Flag" is awarded yearly to a small number of beaches and marinas around the world, and is based on strict safety standards, services provided, and other environmental factors which concern the flora and fauna around the beach, and which altogether help holiday-goers to make an informed choice on where to spend their luxury holiday.
Since 10 years, Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik has received this distinction each year. For this reason, the resort, after all the only resort in Croatia with its own sandy beach, was commended with a silver plaque for its dedication. The "Blue Flag" is an eco-based award, which is only given to beaches and marinas that displayed a constantly high standard of water quality in the season prior.
Receiving the "Blue Flag" yearly is one of the team in Falkensteiner's Club Funimation Borik's biggest priorities.
