Hotel & Spa Alpenresidenz Antholz
Wellness and tradition in South Tyrol
HOLIDAY REGION KRONPLATZ
Fantastic for recreation, catching up, hiking, culture, folklore, culinary delights, etc.
The holiday region Kronplatz is at the heart of the green Pustertal valley at the crown between the Zillertaler Alps and the Dolomites.
Winter holidays
South Tyrol’s skiing mountain No. 1 is calling you - daily shuttle service from the hotel straight to the slopes! Despite those Cassandras who announced the death of skiing and the end of the Alpine skiing winter: It's alive and kicking - see for yourself! In recent winters, good old Mother Holle has really been shaking her pillows well. On top of that, there are more than 200 snow cannons in the entire area. Night after night, up to 35 snow cats groom the slopes to make sure that the ski runs are in perfect condition the next morning.
Summer holidays
Three of the total of seven South Tyrolean natural reserves are located in the holiday region Kronplatz: Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park, an enchanting landscape steeped in legends, Riesenferner Alm Nature Park with its imposing three-thousand-metre summits and Puez-Geisler Nature Park. The protection of the natural landscape and its wildlife is given first priority in these ecologically sound areas. On extended tours through the nature parks you will come across unparalleled flora - whatever the season – and you will also encounter many an "exotic" little animal. If you like, you can join organised nature walks and have the cycles in nature explained to you by experts. This makes hiking twice the fun!
